i got to know the way....today...
i've got pinback in my head. but the minimal effort version, not the original.
highlights of the past few days:
- hero last night at casa del captainb was *AWESOME*. my top movies list (on the days when i have one) has been revised. it's been a long time since i've watched a movie with such beautiful and stunning cinematography that i was re-watching it in my mind the rest of the night. plus interesting concept, a cast of good actors, and cool special effects....the list goes on. GO SEE IT RIGHT NOW!
- first radio show after a summer hiatus went well! i got to listen to some of my favorite tracks, discover some new stuff, received phone calls with requests, and played minimal effort's cd. all while trying to eat some noodles for lunch.
- meeting with a possible future research advisor also went well. she was THE most excited professor i have ever met. nearly every result her lab has gotten regarding this little bacteria made her literally bounce up and down in her chair. it was quite endearing, really.
- shopping at office depot became my most surreal store visit ever. there was a lady shopping for supplies with her pet...PARROT. *SQUAWK* paper! *SQUAWK* binder!
now, i must go sit and melt because it's so hot.
