: : four desks : :

this stupid calibration i have to run on the displays in the lab takes FOR-EV-VAR!!

but that means i have time to diaryland...

so busy and yet there's still so much to be done. i "completed" my hertz application last night. and by "complete", it means i've entered stuff into all the required boxes, even the essay-ly ones. but is it good? is it enough? who knows? nsf is due next wednesday...ahhhh...

the next graphics project (aka The Project aka The Video Game) looms near. seat and i will rock it (by doing the minimal amount of work necessary, of course).

the admin for our lab has this huge office with four different desks. one is a desk for putting folders on. one is a desk with a chair and a calculator on it, where she does her calculations. one is a desk with another chair and a typewriter one it, where she does her typing (yes, i said TYPEWRITER not COMPUTER). the last is a tall desk where she stands to use her computer. i think this is the most number of desks i've ever seen anyone use ever.

currently, i think she's sitting at the typing desk because i hear the *kachunk kachunk* of the typewriter go. and today, there's a big white dog napping at her doorstep.

this psychology building seriously contains some interesting characters...
