t's mom sends him the latest murakami books from japan, way before any of us here even hear about them. he's already read 'afterdark', the next novel after 'kafka' (i think).
the latest book is called something like 'the mysterious library'. it is in fact a picture book, which makes me really really happy because i just might go buy myself a japanese dictionary and attempt to read it using my measly japanese. it is probably the only murakami book i will ever be able to read in japanese.
now i just need to find the time to execute this plan...
