my first year as a grad student at berkeley/ucsf is officially over! the last final was taken on thursday and now i just have a summer of research to look forward to. well, that and ...
- working with a prof to prepare for a course i'm TA-ing next fall
- going to rutgers in june for a week-long course on modeling bacterial signal transduction, ending in a weekend in nyc hanging out with ji
- going to HK for a week in june and showing t the foods of my peoples
- (not definite yet, as tix have not been bought) going to lisbon late august with t for a wedding
in between all that, i'm hoping to squeeze in lots of cooking, some japanese learning, lots of reading, more thoughts on moving to SF (although i'm undecided whether to actually do this still), a bit of python-learning, lots of movie-watching, and lots of hanging out.
